I looked fabulous!

Hi ya Peeps,

I know...like most...laying low, but I just came back from my 30th Class Reunion and wanted to share.  What a kick in the...er...tush!  Not at my lowest weight...and looking much fuller in the face than I would have liked, but HOLY OIL OF OLAY, BATMAN!  Where did all the old people come from? 

I reconnected with my oldest and dearest friends and saw that the "Jock" and the "Beauty Queen" didn't look so good anymore.  I guess with time, everyone one gets friendlier and nicer to each other so that was a BIG PLUS.  My big boost came when I realized I was not the heaviest person in the room, but I was one of the youngest looking.    When registering someone even asked me if I was in the right place...there was a 10 year reunion going on in the next banquet hall.  Oh my...someone poke me with a pin cuz I was afraid my head was gonna swell.

All in all I had a great time and I even won a prize...a day at a spa.  Looks like I'll be heading back to the Napa Valley to cash that sucker in. 

That's awesome Josie!! Glad you had a good time. My 25 year reunion is next July and I can't wait to see jaws drop when I enter the room...lol

Congrats!!  There is nothin like people seeing you skinny (or less fat!!) to really make your heart go pitter pat!!  

I gotta tell you though, you ARE young looking!  When you said 30yr! I almost fainted at the keyboard!

Thank you, it feels good to look younger when all I see in the mirror is the bags under my eyes. 

So glad to hear you had a blast!  My 30th class reunion is scheduled for next July and It's going to be fun!  I organized a "reunion" of sorts with my 4 bestest friends.   We haven't been in the same place at the same time since our 5th reunion and even then we were missing one!  I've rented a house for 4 days and Cindy's coming from Georgia, Rhonda from Salem OR, Lauri from Roseville and Patty lives in town still.  All this is over the 4th of July weekend.    My hubby who doesn't do group things has been pressed into service to bbq on the 4th.  I used guilt - I just put up with 12 days with his weirdo friend he can come and bbq for a bunch of hens for a day!

I am so hoping by next July I'll be way down there weight wise!!!!!  Gonna strut my stuff baby!

How cool...Your mini reunion sounds more liked when me and my sisters get together.  When they were married they always dragged their husbands into grill duty.  I do look forward to having my best friend visit me soon...it was so amazing that we were able to pick up where we left off.

Your gonna have a great time!  Don't forget to share.

I hadn't thought about my HS reunion.  I've never been.  I'll have to see when the next one is...
